Bridging frontier industrial research with future engineering practice.
The Industry Academia Conclave brings professionals from industry and academia together to discuss research, innovation, education and workforce development. PSG iTech has organised it every year since its first edition.
The 9th edition shows how emerging technologies—from custom silicon accelerators and agentic AI to smart geotechnics and defense systems—are shaping engineering careers and industry practice, through expert talks, panel discussions, hands-on workshops and project expos.
Organised by the Centre for Industry Interaction and Outreach (CIIO) with the departments of AI & DS, Civil, CSE, ECE, EEE, and Mechanical Engineering.
What happens across the two days
Keynotes and panels
Leaders from industry and research on current trends, collaboration models and future engineering skills.
Guest lectures
Department sessions on the frontier technologies and industrial challenges each field is actively solving.
Hands-on workshops
Tools and techniques students can try the same day, such as STM32 programming and antenna simulation in CST.
Project expo
Student innovation teams present hardware, software, and research prototypes to visiting corporate experts.
Networking and exchange
Direct interaction between students, faculty, and visiting speakers to establish internships, research ties, and MoUs.
